    Hi everyone! I’m Michelle, one of the groomers here at groomingdale’s. I’m a single mother of two beautiful kids. I own a beautiful ragdoll cat named Dolores and a Shih Tzu Ramona. I grew up in West Hartford and have always been a huge animal lover ever since I was a little girl. I’ve been grooming for about 5 years. I have groomed in cooperate as well as private salons. I love being able to go to work every day doing something I genuinely love. I love the transformation of each and every dog, and seeing them leave happy and satisfied, with an extra pep in their step, as well as their owner! I’m so excited and blessed to own this business with my friend and my mother! Looking forward to meeting you and your pups!

    Hey! Im Jessica, I've been in the grooming business since I was 13. I would help out during the summers and after school, constantly immersed in and learning the trade. I was grandfathered into grooming and am now 33, I still love this job as much as I did when I walked into my first salon! I have an amazing 11 year old daughter, Charlotte, two crazy cats, Freya and Morticia and two quirky dogs, Sadie, a Jack Russell x and Beans a shih tzu. I love all dogs but shih tzus, standard poodles, german shepherds and any scruffy terrier mix will always hold a special place. Grooming will always be a love of mine, I can't see myself doing anything else. The more challenging the request the happier I am. I love piecing together what the owner wants with the coat the pup has and working until everyone is happy. Most importantly I love having a salon where all dogs are treated like family and treated with respect. I care about your dog having the safest experience while in my care, being treated like the sentient beings they are. Anyways that's pretty much all, I love being a mother, pet owner, groomer and look forward to repeated pups in my care as well as the new ones I get to meet!

    Julie grew up in Canton and has several years of administration experience. In 1998 she became a Licensed Massage Therapist and worked at Therapeutic Massage Associates in West Hartford Center. In 2007 she purchased the business. She owned, worked and managed it along with her staff of 12 women until 2012.

    Having experienced the difficulty with finding an available groomer for her mixed breed rescue dog, Max. It was obvious to her and her daughter Michelle that there was a need for another grooming business in the c area.

    So now instead of booking massages for people, she is booking grooming appointments for your dogs!
